W.G ShortIn my case, I joined the R.A.F in 1943, serving at R.A.F cheadle and was demobbed in 1947. During this time I did not visit Bletchley Park. On my return to the R.A.F in 1948 as a civilian, I did not visit Bletchley Park until the 60/70’s, when I visited Bletchley on various courses. At first our accommodation was in a Hut and breakfast was served at the “House” as was the lunch, you made your own arrangements for the evening meal. Later on in the late 70’s when I went on courses, we stayed at local houses B&B, in the area, midday meal and evening meal your own arrangements. Being on courses we were restricted on movements into other sections and in my time at the Park, I do not recall anything of interest to report regrettably. |
