Re-enactors

World war two re-enactors, both civilian and military, are welcome at all our events. There are a range of one and two day events.

Re-enactors really help make our events come alive.

Thank to those of you who attended last year, we had some really great events with the 40’s Family Festival and Enigma weekend being the highlights. It was wonderful to see so many of you join us at Bletchley Park, which really made the event special.

The next big event in the calender is our annual 1940s event which will take place on the 29th and 30th May.  

Below is a list of 2012 events

•   Forties Family Festival – 26th & 27th  May
Last year this event was attended by over 3000 people and had a great atmosphere, this is always a great weekend and great fun and we very much hope you can join us in 2011.

•    Polish Event – 15th July
This is an annual festival celebrating the Polish contribution to the breaking of the Enigma code WW2.

•    Classic Car and Motorbike Picnic – 5th August    
This gets bigger every year with over 250 classic cars and 1,500 people attending last year.

•    Armed Forces & Enigma Reunion Weekend – 1st & 2nd September
We celebrate the veterans who worked at Bletchley Park, as well as our armed forces and cadets, including a cadet field gun run. This is our second largest event of the year after the 40’s weekend, and has a great  atmosphere.

Unfortunately we are not in a position to pay expenses but we can offer all re-enactors, both military and civilian, free admission to these events, we also offer camping on site if needed.  We provide free tea and coffee in our volunteer hut and a 15% discount in our café.
